RC Celta played a solid match in Vitoria to get an away point against Deportivo Alavés (0-0). Miguel Cardoso’s team played a great defensive match and had their chances during the 90 minutes.
It was a very equal first half. RC Celta brought more danger to the rival area with dangerous arrivals of Juncà, Brais and Maxi that could have put the sky-blues ahead. On the defensive end, Miguel Cardoso’s side did not suffer greatly as a result of the home side’s counter-attacks.
The second half followed the same course. Both teams created opportunities to get ahead on the scoreboard but the goalkeepers worked hard to stop them. In the closing stages, RC Celta showed a remarkable defensive strength to seal the draw.
