The national squads of Iago Aspas, Maxi Gómez and Pione Sisto have started out their paths in the Russia World Cup with good results. Spain drew against Portugal (3-3) in an intense match from the beginning to the end. Aspas went into the match at the 75 minute mark in substitution for Diego Costa, who scored two goals against the Portugese team. Maxi Gómez saw from the bench Uruguay’s hard-sought win over Egypt (0-1) after scoring a last minute goal.
Lastly, Pione Sisto started for the Danish squad. He was in doubt for the match due to some pain in the Achiles tendon, but finally played 68 minutes. Denmark won 0-1 against Peru.
