The victory against Levante last Friday brought with it mathematical permanence and the tenth consecutive season in the First Division, a great achievement reached with meritorious anticipation. But also a painful ‘war report’ with four players suffering from muscular ailments.
Tests carried out by the club’s medical services reveal that RC Celta will miss Renato Tapia and Jeison Murillo for several weeks, while Iago Aspas and Aidoo suffer minor injuries.
Ultrasound scans reveal that Murillo suffers a grade I rupture in the anterior rectus of the left thigh and will be out for around four weeks. Renato Tapia also has a grade I fiber rupture in the left biceps femoris and will be out for around three weeks.
Aidoo suffers a distal elongation in the right femoral biceps that will keep him inactive for about a week and Iago Aspas also suffers a contracture in the right femoral biceps, a minor injury whose evolution will determine the academy player’s inactivity.
