RC Celta got an important victory against Osasuna (2-1) in a match that they dominated from the opening whistle and in which Iago Aspas and Jeison Murillo scored the celestial goals.
RC Celta started dominating the match knowing the importance of taking the initiative. With a fast soccer, little by little they were accumulating arrivals to the rival area. The bad news in those first minutes was the injury of Hugo Mallo, who had to be replaced by Kevin.
Santi Mina gave the first warning midway through the first half in a counterattack that ended up in the left post of the osasunista goal. The Celeste continued trying, and found their deserved reward on the verge of the break in a new genius of Iago Aspas, who went from a visiting defender and drilled the goal with his less good leg. Not a bad one, of course.
In the second half, the forces evened out a bit and Osasuna stretched their lines in search of an equalizer. Iván Villar had to make a great save and Budimir sent a header grazing the post. RC Celta also could have scored the second goal but the referee disallowed a goal by Nolito for a millimeter offside.
The one who did score was Jeison Murillo from a corner kick taken in a masterful way by Denis Suárez. Osasuna reduced the deficit with a VAR penalty 15 minutes from time.
