RC Celta already knows its first confirmed opponent of the 25/26 preseason, Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, the only club in England that has in its trophy cabinet all the official titles of English soccer. Only three weeks before the start of the preseason, the light blue team has already marked on the calendar a top-level match against one of the Premier League’s historic teams, a competition they have won three times.
The friendly will be played at Molineux Stadium on August 9 at 16:00h Spanish time. For the moment, Wolves have announced that all their season ticket holders will be able to get a free ticket for the match, and that they will provide details about the general sale at a later date.
With a system of play based on an organized defense and fast transitions, the team led by Víctor Pereira will face Claudio Giráldez’s team in what will be the perfect prelude to the start of the official competition.
