RC Celta Infantil B departed this Tuesday from a Madroa to the Emirati city of Dubai, where it will participate from the 22nd to 24th of February in the U13 Intercontinental Football Cup, an international tournament of the highest level in which one can enjoy some of the best academy players and football prospects on the planet. Liverpool, Juventus, Real Madrid or Barcelona, are some of the top leading clubs that, along with the Celta, will participate in this great football event.
Placed in group D of the competition, Celta will play on Thursday against the Canadian Academy of Football and Al Ahly-Egypt and on Friday the team will close the group phase against Al-Nassr FC. The final rounds of the tournament will take place on Saturday.
The Dubai International Cup is a tournament founded and promoted by academy home-grown and former RC Celta player Míchel Salgado.
