Celta Fortuna ended the 25/26 pre-season by winning the Copa Concepción Arenal, one of the most prestigious summer tournaments in Spanish football.
Fredi Álvarez’s side beat Racing de Ferrol 0-3 at A Malata, putting in a very serious performance, dominating from the start and demonstrating a high level of competitiveness. Andrés Antañón opened the scoring in the first half, while Germain Miller sealed the match with a brace in the closing stages. Beyond the result, the match served to certify the great work done by the team during the preseason, just one week before the start of the official competition in the First Federation.
This trophy provides an extra dose of confidence and motivation for Celta Fortuna as they prepare for their first match of the season against Zamora CF on Saturday, 30 August at 7:30 p.m. at the Ruta de la Plata stadium.
