Celta have signed Anthony Khayat, a central midfielder born in 2007, from Fursan Club in Dubai, which is presided over by former Celta player Michel Salgado.
After taking part in tournaments with the club from Vigo since the age of 10, Khayat has now signed a three-year deal and will join the Celta Fortuna dynamic, although he will be registered with the Juvenil squad.
“He’s a combative player, capable of playing in different positions and adapting to various systems of play, so it’s a source of pride to see him continue developing at a club like Celta“, said Michel Salgado.
A U-20 international with the United Arab Emirates, the young player arrives in Vigo to bring his talent to Fredi Álvarez’s team.
