The charity match “Xuntos contra o lume”, held at Abanca Balaídos last Wednesday, October 8, brought together more than 5,000 people committed to supporting the reforestation of the Ourense mountains affected by the summer fires.
Thanks to the sale of tickets, donations via Bizum, broadcasting rights, and commemorative jerseys, a total of €81,054.12 was raised, which will be entirely allocated to the recovery of these areas.
Celta can only express its gratitude to everyone who attended the stadium, to those who contributed from afar, and to those who will wear this historic jersey wherever they go. Special thanks also go to TVG, Hummel, Onebox, Arco13, Aptia, Ambulancias Rías Baixas, ICP, Gaevi, LaLiga, Cantinas Celta, EVenTiño’s, New Events, and Vodea, whose support was key to making this solidarity event possible.
October 8, 2025, will be forever remembered in the memory of Galicia thanks to the collaboration of fans who once again reflected the values that define the club: unity, solidarity, and a deep commitment to the community.
