
Celta Fortuna will return to training this Wednesday to begin what promises to be a historic season. The team, managed by Fredi Álvarez, will start their 2026/27 preseason at the A Madroa training complex, where they will complete their first training session at 11:00 AM.
The players called up for the start of preseason are: Coke Carrillo, Marcos González, Caio Barone, Izan Server, Seyni Ndiaye, Pablo Gavián, Pablo Meixús, Jan Oliveras, Quique Ribes, Adrià Capdevila, Kibet, Cristian Carro, Germain Milla, Ángel Davila, Bernard Somuah and Álvaro Marín.
They will be joined by several youth players: Iago Barreiros, Jorge Pérez, Noah Rodríguez, Mateo Sobral, Pedro Ildefonso, Raúl Chirveches, Diego Matute, Hugo López, David Sueiro and Saúl Cotado.
Andrés Antañón and Anxo Rodríguez will not be present yet, as they have more days off after winning the European Championship with the Under-19 team last weekend.
The preseason will include the following friendly matches:

· CD Lugo – Celta Fortuna (Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 PM) Pol Municipal Stadium – Lugo

· Vizela FC – Celta Fortuna (Saturday, August 1 at 6:00 PM) Vizela FC Stadium
· Celta Fortuna – Coruxo FC (Saturday, August 8 at 11:00 AM) A Madroa
· UD Ourense – Celta Fortuna (Saturday, August 8 at 8:00 PM) O Couto Stadium – Ourense
With their sights set on a historic season, Celta Fortuna will begin preparing for their debut in the Second Division, scheduled for August 15th at 7:00 PM, against Cádiz CF at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium. The sky-blue youth team is thus facing a demanding preseason with the goal of arriving in top form for a campaign that will mark a new chapter in the club’s history.
