Celta Fortuna secured their second consecutive preseason victory, defeating Vizela 1-0. This win also allowed them to claim the Troféu Grupo Atual and continue building momentum in their preseason preparations.
Óscar Marcos was the decisive factor in the match. Just before the half-hour mark, the striker from Vilaxoán capitalized on one of the best opportunities of the first half to score the only goal of the game, breaking the deadlock in a demanding match against a Vizela side much further along in their preseason training.
After the break, the usual flurry of substitutions slowed the pace of the game, although it allowed Fredi Álvarez to continue distributing playing time and maintaining continuity within the squad, with several youth players increasingly integrated into the team’s dynamics.
Overall, Celta Fortuna displayed a competitive spirit and great defensive solidity, reflecting that, little by little, the pieces are beginning to fall into place. Next Saturday they will put the finishing touch on the preseason with a double commitment against Coruxo FC and UD Ourense, before facing a historic campaign with their debut in LaLiga Hypermotion.
