Celta and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Alexis Olmedo, who will join the reserve team to strengthen its defensive line. The Catalan centre-back, who has signed with Celta until 2030, arrives in Vigo after completing his entire development at La Masia and continuing his progression with Barça Atlètic.
Born in Manresa and a Spain youth international, Alexis stands out for his defensive reliability, aerial ability and composure in building play from the back.
This signing allows Celta Fortuna to add a player with great potential and personality to the squad, fitting perfectly into the team that Fredi Álvarez is putting together ahead of their debut in the second tier in just a few days.
