More than 10,000 people took part during the 2025/26 season in one of the experiences promoted by the Celtista Area, consolidating a project that combines heritage, entertainment and sports tourism.

What for years was a stadium open only on matchdays is now becoming a place where visitors can discover the club’s history, access areas that are usually closed to the public, and enjoy activities designed for supporters, families, tourists and educational groups.

An offer that goes beyond the Tour

The ABANCA Balaídos Tour remains the flagship experience, attracting nearly 60% of all visitors, but the project’s growth is driven by an increasingly diverse range of activities. The Celta Museum, matchday experiences and educational visits through Celta Escolas have helped bring the club closer to a wide variety of audiences.

One of the season’s main highlights was the calendar of Special Tours, featuring themed visits tailored to the club’s current events and different celebrations. Experiences such as the Night Tour, the Tour with Club Legends and the “Before a European Night” tour attracted more than 1,100 participants, demonstrating the growing interest in unique and ever-evolving experiences.

Experience Celta from the inside

Matchday experiences also proved highly popular, with nearly 2,000 participants. Activities such as Flag Bearers, Escort Kids, pre-match tours and penalty shootouts on the pitch transform a visit to ABANCA Balaídos into an unforgettable memory. The project also maintains a strong educational dimension through Celta Escolas, which introduced nearly one thousand schoolchildren to the club’s history and values during its first year.

A destination with international appeal

Although most visitors come from Galicia, the Tour is attracting an increasing number of supporters from the rest of Spain and from countries including Portugal, Brazil, the United States, France, Italy, the United Kingdom and Japan. The average rating for both the Tour and the Museum remains 4.6 stars on Google, reflecting the project’s positive reception. Early figures for the 2026/27 season reinforce this trend: in July 2026, the number of visitors increased by nearly 57% compared with the same month the previous year, while revenue grew by 40%. These figures confirm ABANCA Balaídos as a new benchmark for sports tourism and a different way to discover the spirit of Celta.
