The Football Draft Technical Committee, an organization that identifies the best players between the ages of 16 and 20 trained in Spanish football, met today for the second time in the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas to make its second shortlist among the 132 players initially selected. RC Celta players Fran Beltran and Diego Pampin are among the 77 candidates to join the Spanish football’s Gold, Silver and Bronze teams.
The Technical Committee, chaired by the former national coach Iñaki Sáez, is made up of Javier Lasagabaster ( Football Draft General Manager), Francis Hernández (RFEF National Team Coordinator), Luis de la Fuente (U21 National Team Manager), Santi Denia (U19 National Team Manager), David Gordo (U17 National Team Manager), Julen Guerrero (U16 National Team Manager), Pedro López (Under 19 Women’s Coach), Jesús Barbadilla “Jesule” and Miguel Hernández (AFE), Ángel Caballero (AEAF – Spanish Association of Player Agents), Raúl Ojeda and Ricardo Resta (La Liga), Vicente Miera (Former National Coach), Nacho Silván, (Junior Soccer Expert), Aritz Gabilondo (Junior Soccer Expert) and Ana Rossell (Women’s Soccer Expert).
