The RC Celta was one of the protagonists of the second day of the International Tourism Fair, Fitur, which takes place these days at Ifema Madrid. The sky blue club, with the president Carlos Mouriño at the head, presented at the stand of the Xunta de Galicia in Fitur the enormous potential of the club as one of the main assets of Galicia.

Under the title ‘RC Celta: a window to the world’, Carlos Mouriño, the vice-president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda, and the Commercial and Communication directors of the club, Carlos Salvador and Marco Rocha, presented the enormous capacity of the club as an amplifier of the values and potential of Galicia.

The sky blue president stressed that the presence of RC Celta in Fitur is frankly and beneficial for the entity and that the sky blue club is a window of Galicia to the world, He announced that soon in the RC Celta will be launched large and innovative projects made in Galicia for Galicia, which will have a formidable impact and enormous value in all areas. “There is a great project that we have that will cover many areas, a lot of diversification of what Celta itself is, including an important touristic part”, commented Carlos Mouriño.

For his part, Alonso Rueda said that he was proud to have a club like RC Celta in Galicia and expressed his willingness to collaborate with the club. He underlined the great value offered by the image of a player of the dimension of Iago Aspas posing with the sky blue kit in a punt, a sign of identity.

In addition, he pointed out that players who are part of the team from other countries are the best ambassadors of the hospitality of the Galician people and the promotion of our resources in their places of origin.

The presence of RC Celta in Fitur has an extraordinary value for the entity, since the fair is an unavoidable annual appointment for the professionals of the world-wide tourism, leader in addition for the receptive and emitting markets of Ibero-America.  It is a unique forum to promote brands, present new products, learn about the latest trends and fill the agendas with contacts and prospects in a space of 69,000 square meters, with 7000 exhibitors from over a hundred countries around the world. In this environment, the RC Celta opened this ‘window to the world’ with a presentation that was very well received in the stand of the Xunta, located in Pavilion 9 of Ifema.

Precisely, the space reserved for Galicia was one of those visited on the opening day by the King and Queen of Spain, accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, and Luis Abinader, president of the Dominican Republic, guest country of this edition.
