This morning, the president of RC Celta, Carlos Mouriño, welcomed Roberto Carlos Gaspar, director of the Spanish National Organization of the Blind (ONCE), to the Regio Hall of the Headquarters. Together, they presented the special coupon that the organization will dedicate to the Celeste club in the draw on August 23rd to commemorate its 100 years of history.

Five million coupons will be distributed throughout Spain on that day at authorized points of sale by the organization.

ONCE recalls that on August 23, 1923, the Real Club Celta de Vigo was born after the merger of Vigo Sporting and Fortuna de Vigo, and in the 1935/36 season, it achieved its first promotion to LaLiga’s top division, where it has played for the last eleven consecutive years.

“Celta is part of Spain’s most historic teams, being one of the ten clubs with 57 seasons played in the National League Championship of LaLiga. In the Copa del Rey, it has achieved three runner-up titles (1948, 1994, and 2001), having reached the semifinals of the competition eight times,” emphasizes the organization.

The ONCE Daily Coupon offers a prize of 500,000 euros for the number plus the series, and 49 prizes of 35,000 euros for the five digits of the winning number. Additionally: 450 prizes of 250 euros for the first four digits and another 450 prizes for the last four; 9,000 prizes of 25 euros for the last three or first three digits; and the same for the first and last two digits (6 euros), with a 2-euro refund for the first or last digit of the winning number.
