After Sergio Carreira, another sky blue academy player extends his contract with the club, this time until June 2025. The central defender Jose Fontán signed this morning with the club’s president, Carlos Mouriño, the extension of his contract until four seasons.
Jose Fontán (Vilagarcía de Arousa, 2000), arrived at the sky blue club in 2011, when he played in the youth category and since then he has not stopped evolving, growing and improving. He debuted with Celta B in 2018 and reached thirty games with the second team in Second Division B. With the first team, where he has played both as a central defender and left back, he has played a total of 17 games, fourteen in the league and three in the Copa del Rey.
