RC Celta has five games left to finish the season and the goal could not be other than to get the 15 points that are still at stake. With 41 points in the standings, the team coached by Eduardo Coudet aspires, firstly, to certify mathematically its permanence in the First Division, which would allow it to play next year its tenth consecutive season in the highest category of Spanish soccer. On the other hand, the team also aims to beat a direct rival in the league standings in order to continue climbing up the table.
RC Celta comes into the match after beating Osasuna last Sunday with goals from Iago Aspas and Jeison Murillo. Hugo Mallo, who withdrew injured after a few minutes, has already started training with the rest of his teammates and the Argentinean coach has no suspended players.
