RC Celta continues undefeated in the 2021/22 preseason. After winning against Atlético Sanluqueño and Pafos FC, the sky blues played to a goalless draw in the third friendly match of preparation for the new season. The match, which was played in heavy fog in the final stretch, was not the most colorful so far, but it was an opportunity for the sky blue coach Eduardo Coudet to continue testing and giving opportunities to the whole squad.
The Argentine coach started the match with an eleven formed by Dituro, Hugo Mallo, Aidoo, Fontán, Galán, Tapia, Denis Suárez, Brais Méndez, Nolito, Cervi and Santi Mina; while in the second half he introduced a completely different lineup formed by Rubén, Kevin, Carlos Dguez, Okay, Baeza, Beltrán, Gabri Veiga, Solari, Carbonell, Alfon, Lauti.
One of the highlights of the match was the debut of Javi Galán, recent signing of the Vigo team for the new season, who started the game and left a good impression on the left side. RC Celta will travel this weekend to England to play against Wolverhampton on Saturday, August 7, a match that Celta Media will broadcast live through the club’s official Facebook profile.
