Tough defeat for RC Celta at the Santiago Bernabéu. Coudet’s team started solidly and showed great effectiveness in attack, converting their first chances through Santi Mina and Franco Cervi to reach halftime with a 1-2 lead on the scoreboard.
In the second half, Real Madrid showed their offensive power and annulled the great work done by the sky blues. Benzema’s hat-trick, added to the goals of Vinicius Jr. and Camavinga, made the result a bulky one, which does not reflect many of the virtues shown by RC Celta, especially during the first half.
