Celta played a great match in Camp Nou, outstanding. After 365 days one team earned points in Barcelona. And it happenend to be Celta after scoring two goals by Aspas and Maxi for a more than deserved draw against Barça in an exciting match.
The start was horrible for Celta, Luis Suarez pulled on Sergi Gomez’s arm and he had to be substituted because of a shoulder injury. The Vigo tean then took control of the match, moving the ball brilliantly. Brais had a great scoring chance 15 minutes into playing time after a great pass from Sisto, but his shot was deflected. At the 20 minute mark Aspas scored after a great counterstrike. Aspas collected a loose stop after a shot by Maxi and hit the back of net.
Two minutes later Messi tied the match after a bad pass by Celta. Celta suffered then, as Barça dominated the match. Celta had great chances on the counter. Good first half by Celta.
After halftime the match became intense and disputed. At the 62 minute mark Barça scored after a good move finished off by Luis Suarez. It was an isolated play which gave wings to Barcelona. During this phase Barça had Celta against the ropes.
Celta reacted strongly. Great counter with an outstanding play by Aspas, assiting to Maxi for the goal. The final minutes were intense, with scoring chances for both teams. Great draw for a fantastic Celta team.
