Jonathan Bamba (Alfortville, March 26, 1996) is officially a player of RC Celta. The left winger, who arrives as a free agent after completing his stint at Lille Olympique Sporting Club, lands in the 2023/24 season in the olive city and does so until 2026.
The 27-year-old winger, third signing of the season, comes from closing a brilliant campaign in which he scored six goals and gave up to seven assists in the 34 matches he played. Without a doubt, a decisive player who in his five seasons with LOSC accumulated a total of 200 matches and 29 goals that served, among other things, for the club in northern France to become the Ligue 1 champion in 2021.
With this history, it is not surprising that Bamba was in the sights of big clubs from different European leagues. But in the end, it was the celestes who have taken the talent of the French player, with an Ivorian passport and international with the African country’s senior team, a team with which he debuted last June.
Thus, RC Celta strengthens its forward line in this summer market with a player of great level, with instinct, imbalance and remarkable technical quality to continue preparing for the start of a campaign as special for all Celta fans as this Centenary one.
