José Fontán was the most voted player in the Public’s Choice Award of Fútbol Draft, the Spanish youth academy awards. The sky blue defender obtained 36.6% of the votes, beating Iván Azón, from Real Zaragoza (36.2%).
In addition to receiving the recognition of the fans, the technical committee of Fútbol Draft also awarded Fontán a few weeks ago by including him in the Silver Eleven of the best young players in Spanish football.
