RC Celta forward Julen Lobete will play the next 2023/2024 season on loan at FC Andorra, of LaLiga Smartbank. The young 22-year-old player from San Sebastian stood out in the last campaign at RKC Waalwijk, of the Dutch First Division, where he scored four goals and provided three assists in 1323 minutes of play spread over 29 matches.
Lobete signed for four seasons with the celestial team on July 26, although with a youth team contract for the first two. The forward, who was trained at Real Sociedad, has experience in the top three categories of Spanish football, with more than 40 matches in Segunda B and 23 in Segunda División. He also had an excellent performance with the first team from San Sebastian, where he played 13 matches, two of them as a starter, and scored two goals.
After his stint in the Eredivisie, the celestial player will continue his development at FC Andorra, who finished seventh in LaLiga Smartbank last season.
