RC Celta lost against Real Madrid (2-0) in what is the first defeat of Eduardo Coudet’s team in a month and a half. The Vigo team faced up to the defeat but they caved in to the Madrid club.
The first half started with a great chance for Iago Aspas in which the white defense took the ball out almost under the posts. In the following play, Lucas Vázquez put the locals ahead with a header in the small area. The rest of the first half was clearly dominated by the sky -blues and with Real Madrid defending in their own field.
The second half could not have started worse. Iago Aspas had to leave the pitch injured after a late tackle and with no chance of playing the ball by Nacho, and then the second goal came from Asensio. In the final stretch, RC Celta tried to score a goal that put them in back the match but had no luck in the final meters.
