RC Celta were beaten 2-0 by FC Barcelona on Saturday, who made their punch count on the few occasions they were given by the sky-blue team. Miguel Cardoso’s team contested the possession against Barcelona and enjoyed several dangerous chances that the team could not finish off.
The match started with both teams disputing the ball. It was the Catalan team that managed to get ahead on the scoreboard with a goal by Dembele, who picked up a rejection by Ruben within the area. The rest of the first half was an exchange of bursts that ended, almost on the whistle, with a goal by Messi.
In the second half the sky-blue team took a step forward and enjoyed some dangerous plays. The team led by Miguel Cardoso could not materialize any of its chances despite having control of the match in much of it and leaving a good image at the Camp Nou.
