RC Celta won their first away win of the season on Sunday after defeating Villarreal (1-3). Oscar Garcia’s men were better and took three vital points to try to climb positions in the standings.
The first half was marked by evenness. Both teams had dangerous finishings, although the clearest were from RC Celta. Pione Sisto and Aspas could have put the sky-blue team ahead, who were firm and confident at the defense when Villarreal pressed.
In the second half came the goals. Pione Sisto put the Vigo team ahead after a great pass from Denis Suárez while Samu put the draw shortly after transforming a good play from the locals. In the final stretch, Iago Aspas scored two goals that sealed a crucial victory for RC Celta.
