RC Celta’s first team will carry out part of the preparation for the exciting 2024/25 season in England.
From Wednesday 31st July to Saturday 3rd August, the team coached by Claudio Giráldez will concentrate in an English complex equipped with the best quality facilities for the best comfort of the Celta team and in which they will work to get ready both technically and tactically.
This stage is the second part of the summer preparation for the new season, after starting work on 5 July at the Cidade Deportiva Afouteza facilities and having already played several matches against Benfica, Vizela, Sporting and Gil Vicente.
Before starting their stay in England, RC Celta’s first team will make a stop in France to play their first match outside the Iberian Peninsula of the pre-season. The sky-blue team will play against Lille OSC, on July 30th at 19:00, at the Hainaut Stadium.
Once the match is over, the team will travel to England to continue their preparation at the Kenilworth Road (Luton), where they will remain until the friendly against Luton Town FC, scheduled for Saturday 3 August at 16:00 (CET).
This stretch of pre-season promises to be full of work, intensity, good atmosphere and concentration. Let’s go for it!
