Celta earned a valuable point away to Real Sociedad after a goalless draw at Anoeta.
In the first half, the Celestes remained solid at the back and kept a clean sheet despite the home side enjoying more possession, with the score level at the break.
After the restart, Claudio Giráldez’s side stepped up and took more initiative following the changes from the bench, although the goal never came and the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
Despite the lack of goals, the match stood out for Andrés Antañón’s inclusion in the starting XI and Couhaib Driouech’s official debut in the Celeste shirt.
