RC Celta qualified for the next round of the Copa de SM el Rey after defeating Asturian team UD Llanera (0-2). Eduardo Coudet introduced many changes in the line-up and gave entrance to three players from Celta B.
From the beginning of the match, the sky-blue team took control of the game and amassed much of the ball possession, reaching the rival’s goal on more than half a dozen occasions. A combination between Denis and Carreira ended up converting it into a Lautaro de León goal on the verge of half-time.
In the second half the gale of goals arrived. Nolito twice, Emre Mor and Hugo Mallo provided the scoreboard and gained the ticket for RC Celta to the next round.
