RC Celta lost against Valencia (2-0) in a game in which they played half an hour with a man less due to the intervention of the VAR in a play in which there was no foul.
Little or nothing happened in the first half. The teams tried to take control of the ball without any success and the game was played in the center of the field. The referee correctly disallowed a goal to Wass due to a clear offside.
The second half was going the same way until the referee decided to send off Rubén Blanco for brushing, at best, Maxi Gómez’s bootlaces outside the area. In the last minutes the home team got the winning goals.
