The “Feito na Madroa” talent continues to strengthen its roots and build momentum for the coming seasons. In this regard, Diego Matute will remain with Celta through 2030.
At just 17 years old, the midfielder, who joined the club’s youth system in the Infantil B category, has already made a name for himself in the club’s youth teams, where he will continue to develop his full potential. So far this season, he has played a total of 23 official matches in which he has scored 9 goals, making his debut in the Juvenil Division de Honor last November and playing in the Copa del Rey matches with the team led by Alberto Suárez.
Diego Matute is one of the young players growing up under the “Feito na Madroa” banner, the model that defines the club’s identity and through which Celta itself reaffirms its commitment to A Canteira. Now, the player will continue to grow and develop in the best possible environment: his home.
