Celta and Dinamo Bucharest have reached an agreement for the free transfer of Ianis Târbă, with a percentage of any future sale. The 19-year-old forward, who played for Celta Fortuna this season, will continue his sporting career with the Romanian team.
Of Romanian origin but born in the Catalan town of Mollerusa in 2006, Ianis joined Celta’s youth academy at the age of 16, after completing his training in the FC Barcelona youth teams. For two seasons he played for the Celeste Juvenil B team and then made the leap to the División de Honor team, with whom he had an outstanding season, scoring eight goals.
His progress led the club to reserve a place for him in the youth team for the current season. With Celta Fortuna, Târbă has played three official matches, accumulating a total of 124 minutes on the pitch.
Celta now wishes the player every success in this new sporting challenge.
