Celta and Jorge Pérez have reached an agreement to extend the young forward’s contract through 2030. The winger, a native of Pontevedra, will continue to develop his talent at A Madroa as part of the club’s clear commitment to the growth of A Canteira.
Jorge Pérez joined the club in the Cadete B category, where he had an outstanding first season, scoring 38 goals and demonstrating his quality and offensive potential.
This season, the young player is balancing his participation in the Juvenil A team, under the guide of Alberto Suárez, with his first steps in the Primera Federación. With Celta Fortuna, Jorge has already played in 7 matches, recording one assist. Meanwhile, in the División de Honor, he has established himself as one of the key players in attack, scoring 16 goals in 25 matches. This performance earned him his first call-up to the Spanish U-18 national team during this March break.
With his continued presence, Celta reinforces its confidence in the talent developed at Feito na Madroa and the work carried out across the various categories of A Canteira, where players like Jorge will continue to grow at home.
