Pablo Gavián has sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee, as revealed by medical tests conducted following an injury he suffered during the match between Celta Fortuna and Córdoba CF last Saturday at Abanca Balaídos.
The sky-blue player experienced a contusion and a twisting injury to his right knee during the match, necessitating a medical examination to determine the extent of the damage. The tests confirmed a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament.
The planned treatment includes surgery, which will take place in the coming days, after which the player will begin a rehabilitation and physiotherapy program.
