Marcos González has extended his contract with Celta until 2030, reaffirming the club’s commitment to homegrown talent and strengthening the Celta youth team.
A native of Nigrán, Marcos arrived at A Madroa at just 14 years old. Since then, he has progressed through the ranks to become one of the goalkeepers for Celta Fortuna, where he made his debut this past weekend, leaving a very positive impression.
Youth, commitment, and talent define a player who will continue to be part of the club’s present and future and who, at 20 years old, perfectly embodies the identity of A Canteira.
With this renewal, Celta reaffirms its commitment to homegrown players as fundamental pillars in building the club’s sporting project.
