Celta and Celta Baloncesto, with the support of the Celta Foundation, renewed their historic collaboration agreement this morning, reaffirming a partnership that represents one of the strongest examples of cooperation between sporting organizations in the city of Vigo. The new agreement will initially run for two years, with a planned extension for a further two years, ensuring the continuity of a shared project that will continue to promote grassroots sport and the development of young athletes over the coming seasons.
The signing ceremony, held this morning at A Sede, was attended by Celta President Marián Mouriño; CD Bosco Celta Baloncesto President Carlos Álvarez; Celta Foundation Director Germán Arteta; the Sporting Director of CD Bosco Celta Baloncesto Carlos Colinas; and the Head of the Social Affairs Department of CD Bosco Celta Baloncesto Mar Mariño.

Through this agreement, Celta reaffirms its commitment to a club that is deeply rooted in the city and shares the same values of effort, education, teamwork and the holistic development of individuals through sport. The partnership will continue to include access for Celta season-ticket holders to Celta Baloncesto matches, a range of joint promotional initiatives, technical support and the licensing of the Celta brand, further strengthening the shared identity between the two organizations.
This renewal comes at a particularly exciting time for Celta Baloncesto, which will compete in Liga Femenina Endesa next season after recently securing promotion to the top tier of Spanish women’s basketball. This milestone confirms the sporting growth of a historic club and provides fresh momentum for a project that continues to look to the future with ambition.

The Celta Foundation will once again play a key role within this partnership. Remaining true to its commitment to social and educational development through sport, the Foundation will continue to promote initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall development of players in Celta Baloncesto’s youth categories. Beyond competition, the Foundation will continue to use sport as a transformative tool to instill values, encourage healthy lifestyles and support young athletes in their personal, academic and sporting growth.
