Abanca Balaídos has opened its doors to receive this 2025 surrounded by all the celtismo. Thousands of people queued from early in the morning to enjoy a preparatory session of RC Celta before the Copa del Rey round of 32 match, which will face Racing Santander this Sunday at El Sardinero.
At eleven o’clock in the morning, the players took to the pitch amidst the warmth of the fans. More than 5,500 people filled the stands of Abanca Balaídos to enjoy the training of the sky blue team. A day full of excitement and celta spirit that started with a heartfelt recognition to Iago Aspas after making official his continuity in the team until 2026. The star of Moaña gave himself a real bath of masses and did not want to miss the opportunity to dedicate a few words to all the fans who have always treated him with so much affection and whom he considers as a family.
After the session, the players spent more than two hours signing autographs and taking photos with the hundreds of people who were excitedly waiting for them. Undoubtedly, an early Epiphany present for many of them that they will surely not forget.
