The Concert of the Coral Casablanca and Orchestra on the occasion of RC Celta’s Centenary generated a shower of emotions in a packed and committed auditorium. The audience enjoyed an exquisite program, with a calculated variety to generate a roller coaster of feelings and cover the entire spectrum of musical tastes and with several nods to RC Celta, whose first team, along with the coaching staff, attended in full to enjoy this great show.
From the stage of the Afundación Theater, the Coral Casablanca stirred emotions and generated enthusiasm from their first performance, Candilejas, by Chaplin. From black and white art, to the sea, with Meu Amore Mariñeiro or A Rianxeira. Negra Sombra, Chica de Ayer, Bohemian Rapsody, Cuéntame, Nessun Dorma… Different eras and styles with the majestic voices of the Coral Casablanca that drew enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The A Team theme, of course, sounded after the break. And the climax, the Galician and RC Celta Anthems, which sounded at the start in the voices of the children’s choir, to close an unforgettable performance.
The complete program of the Concert, directed by Óscar Villlar, included the following performances:
Candilejas, Meu Amore Mariñeiro, Irmaus, Negra Sombra, Cuéntame, Apaga la Luz y verás, Chica de Ayer, Vivir sin Aire, A Rianxeira, Hasta el Final, Bohemian Rapsody, Nessun Dorma, O Fortuna ‘Carmina Burana’, RC Celta Anthem and Galician Anthem.
