Gabri Veiga has been awarded the XIII Manuel de Castro Trophy by ‘Estrella Galicia 2023’. This prestigious recognition, granted through a joint vote involving the first team, the press, and the fans, designates him as the best player of RC Celta for the year 2023, followed by Iago Aspas and Jørgen Larsen.
This award celebrates the outstanding performance throughout the past year of the Galician midfielder, who has left an indelible mark in the club’s history according to the unanimous valuation of the Celta community. Eleven goals and four assists in 39 matches have been the canterano’s numbers for the 22/23 season, which, combined with his commitment and effort in every match, have earned him this well-deserved prize.
