Celta and Podoactiva have renewed their collaboration agreement, under which the company will continue to provide the club with podiatry, biomechanics and sports protection services, strengthening their joint commitment to innovation and the comprehensive care of the players.
Thanks to this partnership, the club will continue to benefit from specialised solutions for biomechanical analysis, gait assessment and custom insole production. The agreement also includes the manufacture of customised sports protective equipment (shin guards, masks, etc.) through Younext Sport Protection, Podoactiva’s biotechnology division. These solutions make it possible to tailor resources to each footballer’s individual needs, helping prevent injuries and safeguard their health.
The collaboration draws on Podoactiva’s expertise and technology, as well as close coordination with the club’s medical professionals, with the aim of providing personalised care and meeting the demands of elite football.
Natalia García, head of Podoactiva Vigo, highlights the importance of continuing this partnership: “We are delighted to continue working alongside Celta and contribute to the care of its players. Combining technology, specialised expertise and teamwork enables us to provide solutions tailored to each athlete’s needs.”
Meanwhile, Juan José García Cota, head of Celta’s medical services, states: “Having Podoactiva’s support for another year allows us to continue improving the biomechanical monitoring of our footballers and tailoring insoles and protective equipment to their needs. This partnership adds value to the day-to-day work of the medical services team and to the care of our players.”
With this renewal, both organisations are continuing a shared project that combines medical expertise, technology and innovation in the service of athletes, reaffirming their commitment to the well-being and performance of Celta’s footballers.
