Celta and David Sueiro have reached an agreement for the young academy player to remain with the club for the next three seasons, meaning the attacking midfielder will wear the sky-blue jersey through 2029.
A native of Silleda, David joined A Madroa in the Infantil division from Xuventude Oroso. Since then, his development has gone hand in hand with the club, as he has progressed through every stage of A Canteira and confirmed, season after season, his enormous potential.
At 16, he stands out for his technical skill, his elegance with the ball, and a maturity beyond his years in reading the game. This exceptional talent has already earned him a spot on the Spanish U-16 national team.
Currently, the youth academy product has begun the 2026/27 preseason under Fredi Álvarez, as part of the preparations for what promises to be a very special season for Celta Fortuna in the Second Division. In addition, he has participated in all four friendly matches played so far, making a very positive impression in each one and demonstrating his personality and great potential on the field.
In this way, Celta once again reaffirms its commitment to “Feito na Madroa” talent, ensuring the continuity of a player who wishes to continue building his athletic future at home.
