Celta Vigo has reached an agreement with Racing Club d’Abidjan for the transfer of Mohamed Harafat Diabate, a right winger and Ivory Coast U-17 international, who will join the Celta squad once he turns 18.
Harafat will continue his development at his current club until he turns 18 in November 2027. He will then join Celta, although he will not be eligible to play in official competitions until the winter transfer window of the 2027/28 season.
With this signing, Celta adds a player with enormous potential and talent to its youth academy project, creating future opportunities and reaffirming its commitment to young African prospects, as seen with Bernard Somuah, Seyni Ndiaye, and Aldrine Kibet.
In any case, the transfer is subject to the completion of the corresponding administrative procedures.
