Celta Fortuna is beginning to outline its 2026/27 preseason schedule and already knows the date of one of its first matches. The team coached by Fredi Álvarez will face Sporting de Gijón in a friendly match to be played next Wednesday, July 22, at 7:00 p.m. at A Madroa.
The Asturian team, which will also be one of the Celta first team’s opponents during summer training, will provide a demanding first test for Celta Fortuna as it prepares for its debut in LaLiga Hypermotion. Additionally, this friendly will serve as a preview of the league matchup between the two teams on Matchday 8 of the schedule, when Celta’s youth team visits El Molinón.
