RC Celta and Hummel have signed an agreement by which the Danish multinational becomes the new technical sponsor for the next five seasons. Hummel will be in charge of supplying the playing, training and lifestyle kits, both for the first team and for the rest of the club’s sporting sections and youth categories.
RC Celta and Hummel join forces to mark a milestone in the history of both entities. Vigo is the meeting point of the thriving trajectory of two centenary institutions that have forged their history on a common philosophy and values.
The president of RC Celta, Marián Mouriño, expressed her satisfaction for an agreement that ‘unites us for the next five seasons with a brand of great prestige and that has shown great sensitivity to understand the essence and values of our club’.
‘We embark on this new stage with great enthusiasm and confidence, hand in hand with Hummel, in which we look to the future with ambition, based on our identity and our roots,’ he added.
José ‘Coe’ García, president of Hummel, underlined that ‘RC Celta is a club with a long history, a great fan base. From the very first moment, the connection with Celta and its people has been very special, and we have felt united by its values, tradition and objectives. It is an honour to be able to accompany RC Celta on this journey, and we are convinced that with this alliance we will be able to develop technical products and merchandising ranges that will be very attractive to their fans’.
