RC Celta now have the piece that completes their midfield. The Celta midfield has been given quality, depth and strength with the arrival of Ilaix Moriba, on loan, with an option to buy, from RB Leipzig until the end of the season.
The young Guinean player, 21 years old, returns to LaLiga, a competition in which he burst onto the scene in spectacular fashion with FC Barcelona when he had just turned 18. His performance and potential in his first steps in the Primera División led to his arrival at RB Leipzig, where he currently plays.
His experience in LaLiga grew through loan spells at Valencia and Getafe, which allowed him to make 66 appearances in the Primera División, with one goal and seven assists. Ilaix Moriba arrives at RC Celta full of enthusiasm to contribute his great quality and physical strength. The midfielder is an international with the Guinea national team, with which he has played 23 games. He lands in Vigo after representing his country in the Olympic Games, a competition that Guinea reached for the second time in its history thanks to a goal by Ilaix against Indonesia. In Paris, the midfielder played three games with his national team, the last one less than a week ago against the United States.
