We publish our institutional, organizational and planning policy, as well as economic, budgetary and statistical indicators and transparency index INFUT, with the aim of advancing our idea of transparency and communication with society in general, being proactive in providing information on our raison d’être, ethical and behavioural principles, the objectives we aim to achieve, …

We comply with the Football Club Transparency Index (INFUT) which consists of a set of indicators evaluated through “Transparency International Spain”. It evaluates information about the Club, relations with members, fans and the general public, economic and financial transparency and in the contracting and supplies and indicators of the Transparency Act.

1. APPLICABLE REGULATION

The regulation applicable to the Real Club Celta de Vigo, S.A.D., is:

  • Royal Legislative Decree 1/2010 approving the Revised Text of the Law on Corporations, as well as subsequent laws introducing amendments to it.
  • Royal Decree 1251/1999 of 16 July on Sports Corporations.
  • Real Legislative Decree 1514/07 of November 16 by which the General Accounting Plan is approved, the modifications included in the RD 1159/2010 of September 17 and RD 602/2016 of December 2.
  • Order June 27, 2000 approving the rules for adaptation of the General Accounting Plan to sports corporations, in everything that does not contravene the Royal Legislative Decree 1514/07 of November 16.
  • Law 10/1990, of October 15, of the state sport.
  • Law 3/2012, of April 2, of the Sport of Galicia.
  • Royal Decree 177/1981, of January 16, on sports clubs and federations.
  • Trade Code.
  • Other regulations applicable to a professional Club/SAD (in particular, the Regulations for the Economic Control of Clubs and Sports Corporations affiliated to the LNFP and the agreements of the Joint Commission of the Superior Sports Council and the National Professional Football League in which the new model of Annual Accounts of Clubs and Sports Corporations affiliated to the National Professional Football League is approved)
  • Personal Data Protection Regulations (LOPD): Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data
  • Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
  • Law 19/2007, of July 11, against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in Sports.
  • Law 19/2014, of December 29, on transparency, access to public information and good governance
  • Law 10/2010 on money laundering and financing of terrorism
  • Organic law 1/2015, of March 30, of the Penal Code.

Economic and financial solvency.

Generate economic and financial solvency to support and grow in business, through:
Consolidation of the international presence as a revenue-generating element, through an internationalization plan that starts with a pre-season tour of the first team’s 2022/203 season in the United States and Mexico, that seeks to grow in income and gain presence in different markets.
Generation of digital content in new market niches that allows the loyalty of fans, growth of followers and extend the Celta brand to achieve monetization presence in new markets.
Search for new sponsorship opportunities that increase the overall value of the brand and allow growth in revenue.

Strategic investment plan:

  • Investment in players,
  • Galician Sports Factory Project 360. Initial approval of the Regional Interest Project (PIA) it is the first step to obtain the definitive approval to start undertaking the works of a project of about 300,000m2 from which will address and promote different facets of the sports system and will involve the generation of employment, the promotion of research and culture and leisure, for a sustainable future.
  • Continuity of the digitization project and Big Data. incorporating new tools that free people’s time to perform tasks that provide value and provide tools that allow a better analysis and learning of the relationship that customers have with the Group and create «patterns» to help improve service or be proactive in meeting future customer needs. Enhancing power bi reporting, being able to compare and analyze data from different sources, allowing to merge all data and process them, converting them into graphs and tables with which to extract decisions in an agile way.

Globalisation and internationalisation of the RC Celta Brand.

  • Image and transparency objective to promote economic growth and social development by:
    We comply with the 100% Football Club Transparency Index (INFUT) in its latest edition (2019)
  • Certificate of Excellence in Business Management, after evaluating the main parameters that determine management: solvency, profitability, growth, employment, internationalization, corporate social responsibility, customer satisfaction, innovation, commercial risk management and digitisation.
  • Ardan Indicator Well-managed company 2022, by meeting several criteria simultaneously: revenue growth, profitability, productivity and liquidity; with values above the median of the sector in which they operate and over a period of three consecutive years (reference period: 2018-2020).
  • Ardan Company Circular 2022 indicator, for the continuity of the circular economic strategy.
  • The Supreme Sports Council has awarded the society the Gold Plate of the Royal Order of Sports Merit, the highest distinction granted by sport in Spain, who values the merits and circumstances of the sports and professional histories of individuals and entities, their sporting successes or their contribution to the development of Spanish sport.
  • In July 2023, the company Real Club Celta de Vigo, S.A.D. obtained 924 points out of 1,000 points in the Ranking of Smart Companies of Galicia 2022. Considering itself as a smart company, it combines its current capacity for value creation with a business model capable of generating sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the future.

  • Generate profitability through business: one of the strategies is to generate greater profitability, for this will emphasize the exploitation of new areas and businesses, establishing as a priority:
    Growth, in sales figures, countries with presence, sales channels.
    Generate greater profitability.
    Improve quality, service and assessment.
    GS360 project as a catalyst for new activities that help increase business.
  • Facilitating web access for disabled people: We actively work for equal opportunities for people with special abilities through participation in different activities aimed at groups with special needs: Celta Integra Foundation collaboration agreements for the implementation of training actions for the employment of persons with disabilities with the Once Foundation. That is why we consider it important that everyone can access our website regardless of their individual characteristics.
  • Focus objectives Agenda 2030, as well as visualizing the measures implemented in CSR: Highlight the important role and responsibility of society to disseminate and visualize the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.

The company has implemented different methodologies and processes that allow it to develop the activity in an ethical, transparent and sustainable way, promoting the values of excellence, transparency, sustainability and closeness as strengths of its business:

  • Quality: By implementing different quality systems under the standard UNE EN ISO 9001:2015 certified by the accreditation body AENOR, in our orientation to customers, processes and continuous improvement (in the department of security and facilities and in the corporate area of finance, administration and human resources).
  • Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethics: so the Celta RC Group (EINF) Non Financial Information Statement is voluntarily formulated for each season, being the first club to formulate the EINF, with the aim of promoting transparency regarding the group’s activity and sustainability. And the Criminal Compliance management system is implemented under the UNE 19601:2017 standard.The RC Celta Group is firmly committed to equal opportunities in access to employment, regardless of the individual characteristics of people who opt for a job. It therefore endorses the criteria laid down in the existing legislation on the principle of equality and diversity, the practical application of which is being translated into design, implementation and follow-up of measures which have effectively contributed to the integration of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in the daily activities of the Group.In the 2020/2021 season the First Equality Plan of the Real Club Celta de Vigo was approved, S.A.D., for a period of 4 years, from 29 June 2021 to 28 June 2025.
  • Sustainability: What sets us apart from competition and positively strengthens the image before society in general. The Group integrates the environment into its global management, with RCCelta being the first LaLiga club to implement an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2015.This optimization in the management of resources and waste is also reinforced by the acquisition of the Real Club Celta de Vigo, S.A.D., of the Ardan Empresa Circular 2020 indicator; Ardan Empresa Circular 2021 and Ardan Empresa Circular 2022.In the 2022/2023 season the certification BREEAM is Urbanism has been achieved for the Galicia Sport 360 Project- Factoría del Deporte Gallego, RCCelta being the first LaLiga club to implement this type of certification.
  • Social (Proximity): Through the implementation of good practices in the management of risks derived from COVID-19, under the standard Protocol against COVID-19, generating trust among all groups (customers, people working in the Group and society in general). We have an Equality Committee and RCCelta is the first LaLiga club to implement web accessibility.

All this makes the company Real Club Celta de Vigo, S.A.D. awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Business Management for the years 2019; 2020; 2021; 2022 and 2023; after evaluating the main parameters that determine management, such as: solvency, profitability, growth, employment, internationalisation, corporate social responsibility, customer satisfaction, innovation, commercial risk management and digitisation. And that they grant him the Ardan Indicator Well Managed Company 2022 and figure in the Ardan Ranking of Smart Companies of Galicia 2022.
